Urban: UCPN Fashion Carnival

On Sunday August 24, 2008, United Caribbean Professional Network (UCPN) hosted a fashion show and after party called ‘Fashion Carnival’ at NY Perks (bar and lounge) Brooklyn, NY. The highlight of this fashion benefit was 18-year old female-clothing designer Brian Roach, who presented some of his designs, called the Brian R. Anthony Collection. Brian will be attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to further develop his creative skills. Wish him good luck and support him.

The other female-clothing designer that was featured is Terryanne Jackman. Her line is called Toxic Venom. Three carnival costume designers also presented, Lisa Henderson’s Orchard of Masai, Carlene Baptiste & Terri Ryan’s Wyld Safari, and Candace Veerasammy’s Angel of Peace. These carnival costumes were featured in the annual West Indian Parade, held on September 1, 2008, Brooklyn, NY.

Performances were by Kayla Bliss, singer, and Farai, reggae artiste. Many special guests and dignitaries were in attendance. Another awesome UCPN event!
