Obituary: Naomi Sim Dies at 61

On Saturday August 1, 2009, Naomi Sims, the world's first supermodel of African ancestry, died of cancer in Newark, New Jersey, USA. Her funeral service was held yesterday, August 6, 2009, at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish Church, New York City.
